How much space do you have? My brother and SIL set up several saw horses and they have a couple sheets of plywood that my brother painted just for their holiday display. They set up the entire village along with a train. Add a catering dust ruffle to hide the saw horses and all the boxes and it looks very pretty.
We did something similar in our former house—but we are elderly and downsized. I still held on to these—sentimental. I know it must look beautiful—thanks for responding!
I used to display mine in the kitchen above my cabinets. I set them on books or small boxes and added fake snow. My kids were little, so this kept them safe. Now I display them on bookshelf.
