Judy....Not so sure there is a fast way. Paper tiger, spray to loosen, leave until it saturates through holes from paper tiger then use a scraper. You don't want to damage wall with gouges, holes, etc. especially if you plan to paint. After you do remove the paper you want to wipe the wall with water and rag to remove the remaining glue that may be there. When the wall is smooth to the feel you will have the glue removed! Good luck!

Buy a wallpaper spiked-roller to piece it.
Spray vinegar & water solution on it and then scrape it off.
I do this as a side job. I use fabric softner in hot water applied with a car sponge or sprayer. You first need to encase the whole floor in plastic tarps taped to baseboards. I put stacks of newspaper on the floor along the wall to absorb excess solution so its not slippery. I put a big trash can in the middle of the room.
First score all the paper well using round circles all over. I apply solution in 5' strips from floor to ceiling, move on to next section. Go back to first and see if its loosing, if not, reapply solution. I buy the fabric softner at the Dollar Tree along with the car sponge and spray bottles, and plastic tub for the solution and rubber kitchen gloves to protect hands. Scrape off paper at 45 degree angle with a large scraper.
