How do I repaint old vinyl shutters?
I've a summer trailer and the vinyl shutters are very faded and I'd like to change the colour. Has anyone had any luck in painting vinyl shutters? I was told at the hardware store that it is a very difficult and the outcome might not be good. Would like to hear from anyone that has done this and what was the outcome. Thanks

I say go for it. Clean the shutters thoroughly and repair any damage. Buy one can of Rustoleum 2X brush on paint (made for plastic , like vinyl) and use a 2-3” brush to paint each shutter. The paint is durable for inside and out. Best wishes! Jewell
