If you have a rustic decorated house it would look beautiful just hanging on the wall above the couch. Add a few rustic black metal hinges to make it pop.
The wood does not look to me to be strong enough to support any heavy hardware such as metal hinges, or any weight hanging from it.
It is so brittle, I would think it would continue to crack and splinter when attempts were made to drill through it.
