How can I insulate a balcony so we can sit in it year round?
without converting the balcony into a room, we want to sort of insulate it and heat it during colder months to use it as a sitting room

there is balcony above us so the top is covered by a wood slat ceiling/floor, two walls are closed (storage and furnace on one side, the sliding glass door wall on the other) and two are open with metal fence/ rail
oh and it's denver CO area, it can get really cold, but it warms up and isn't freezing most of the time
