Hi Donna. I'm Cindy. I have used Woolite's Rug and Upholstery Cleaner for a few stains in my home. It works well and I have been very happy with results. It comes with a brush built in the cap. You spray the foam on the stain and scrub it with the brush provided. My husband works in the School District and this is what the schools use for stains. It's safe around kids and pets. Good luck Donna.
Donna, on your cushions do you have any zippers where you can take the fabric off the cushions? If so, I would remove them and soak them in oxiclean. I just did this in the spring and it turned out AMAZING! I forgot to take before and after pics though. BUT THIS WORKS and I totally need to write a post on it! It is time consuming though...just warning you. I got all the black and green off of my cushions. this was the method I used. So I removed the fabric from the cushions. Luckily I have zippers on mine. I put them in our laundry sink in the basement to work on. I did one at a time because they are large pieces of fabric. I soaked in a Luke warm oxyclean bath. Every now and then I would take out to scrub each area of black and green with spray-n-wash and salt putting warm water on the area and scrub. Put back in the oxyclean bath and add warm water to the bath again. I did this about 4/5 times a day. I kept doing this for about 5 days just keeping it in the bath and adding warm water each time Keep doing this until the stains get better or are completely gone. If you can't dedicate your sink to this for a week....you could do the same method in a bucket. No need to get new cushions when all it might need is a little elbow grease. Good luck!
An attachment for my steam cleaner is what I use. It cleans really well. I use a spray called Resolve for spot cleaning. If the cover is removable, wash according to tag instructions.
