How do I repair a dent in a lampshade?
How do I get a dent out of a lampshade? It's in good shape all but for a small dent in it. It is only on one side otherwise the shade is in good condition.

I have a lamp that's not that old but has a dent...how can I fix it?
Patricia...Since it's fall you can purchase fall ribbon and wrap the shade from top to bottom all the way around. Most of these I have seen has the wire in the ribbon. You can take a look at Pinterest entering DIY lampshade with ribbon. So many to see! Good luck!
Glue a flower or lace over it. Wrap the base in twine for a different affect.
Try placing a damp cloth over the dent. Set an iron to medium heat. Back the dent with another cloth on the inside and hold it in place. Iron over the damp cloth.
Heat is also my answer.
One person holds the hairdryer on the outside and another holds a large wood spoon or something that's going to work with pushing the dent out.
Start out on low heat and farther away with circular motions. If it's not softening in 3 minutes, switch to high heat.
I dont think it is doable
