Not sure but I'm guessing you want to blend it in. Perhaps you could paint it to blend with the surrounding decor. If you add a photo, you could get some excellent ideas. There are so many talented people with wonderful insights on here.

To make something blend in I paint it the same color as the wall behind it.
Paint it or contact paper or glue pretty material on it
