How can I make a cloth seat cover to cover My tractor seat

I have a Mahindra Tractor and it sits in the sun. So I would like to make a slip cover for the seat to help protect it

Get strong weather able material. Cut size of seat to add strong elastic underneath and pull over. Could possible use old tablecloth (vinyl). Kinda like the cold shower caps...lol -

I would make a cushion out of a durable cloth like drop cloth with elastic around the edges, and remove it at the end of the day if the tractor is outside. I'd use a material like that so it was washable.
