How do I build a rat wall for a 4x4 base tool shed?
I have 4×4 base tool shed. I want to put in my yard but was told I need a "rat wall". What would be the quickest, easiest, & inexpensive way to place a rat wall? On a fixed income & limited skills.

Not really sure what a rat wall is. Sorry.

This is exactly what I did around the perimeter of my workshop addition. Dug a 12" deep trench around the base of the shed. Sunk 1/4" hardware cloth into the trench, stapled it to the shed, and filled the trench.

Here is one lady's solution, but I prefer the 1/4" hardware cloth steel wire since the holes are smaller..... if the head fits the rats/mice get in. Another trick we used in the bush, was to save all our cans, cut and flatten them and use them around the bottom of sheds/root cellers so they can't chew through the wood or wire. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tURBzqaMlmM
