How do I know if my pineapple plant is growing?
I bought a pineapple, followed the information on how to plant the top of pineapple that gets cut off, my problem is it's been like 2 solid months. Question; how do I know if it's going to grow. It seems to be rooted good & still green & not dead. I just don't know what to expect from the pineapple next? Anyone know what I might expect 🤗🤔🤔🤔

Hi Tracy, as long as it's looking healthy and green, just leave it alone and enjoy the tropical foliage. From what I understand, it can take 2-3 years or so for a pineapple fruit to be produced.

My husband rooted the top part when roots were strong I planted in a pot in potting soil and it it is beautiful. It is full and about 18-24 inches tall. You must place it where it gets plenty of sun. The second one is recently planted and growing. The third is beginning to root. The first took about three weeks to root. We started it in June. Hope this helps.
