How can I make over my cement porch floor to look like brick?

I would replace the hardware to something more steamlined and apply either a lighter stain or paint it with a milk-based latex paint, followed by a light sanding and topped with a wax coating. Keep the glass and mouldings, they will look great with a lighter paint/stain scheme! Lighter neutral colors will automatically look fresher!

I can envision it spray painted with one of the metallic finishes such as rose gold or silver. Then maybe paint the inside of the top area and the inside of the secretary area in a turquoise or fuchsia or yellow color solid paint.....all depending of course on what you select for the outside.
