How/ what do I use to repair my dresser?
So I have a dresser and I was moving it out of hose by myself I had to help I figured I could do it,anyways I accidentally hit the corner of it to the door frame of the house damaging the wood of the dresser and some how the top of the dresser came unglued from where it’s sits on but also damaged the inside of the dresser

I have an antique oak dresser with a dark water stain- what can I do?
My grandson set a glass of water on dresser over night. Have tried toothpaste, Vaseline, coconut oil, mayo, no success. And other suggestions.
A photo would help. Not seeing the damage you should be able to glue everything back together with wood glue.
Can you post some pics? They would help tremendously.
if the top is lifted from the base try placing a sheet on it topped with a book and use a mallet to see if you can get the top to go back into place. If it does but is loose you an use a small L bracket inside to keep the pieces joined. As for the bottom edge that got damaged it might be hard to repair it if the wood is chipped or split. A cosmetic fix might be to use one of the wood stain markers on it to make any chipped areas blend in until you determine if you're going to refinish/paint it.
I would nuse wood filler to fill in any dings. Let it dry. Use a matching marker or shoe polish or buy one of those floor repair filler tubes to match. Then buff the spot to blend it in.
