    You can purchase these from so many places...try Amazon or hardware stores. They are important to me also and the ones on my back steps are beginning to move so I would get hubby to help me decide what we need to do because that alone can make a trip/fall hazard. Good luck in your search! I'm on the outside of my house from little porch and just realized you may be talking about interior. Scarlet does have a great idea for inside! Sorry..that's what happens to me since I have a one track mind from time to time.

    Are they wooden stairs? Our outside staircase we used leftover roofing shingles and nailed them down to prevent slipping.

    You can buy a paint with sand mixed in or make your own & paint your steps with this.
