How do I paint a red brick fireplace?
Looking to see what you would recommend as far as updating/painting a red brick fireplace from 1955 to a more modern look? I want to go with white, but I'm just trying to figure out if I really want to attempt this by myself. Thank you in advance!

Oh you can totally do this!
I'd recommend a chalk based or mineral based paint! Annie Sloan, Jolie or Dixie Belle are great to go with! Add a small amount of water to the paint and go for it!

Do you have a photo? I don't think painting it will be difficult- but you'll want to use a good primer first! This is the good stuff. https://www.amazon.com/Rust-Oleum-Corporation-271009-Advanced-Synthetic/dp/B00H08IX22/ref=sr_1_3?keywords=BIN+primer&qid=1569279560&s=gateway&sr=8-3
