How can we repair front porch stairs?
Our steps to our front porch have demolished. How can we fix them with a lot of work? My husband was in an accident three years ago, and he isn't able, so I am trying, but I am limited. What would be a good way to get it done?

Hi Cindy,
It is difficult to kow how bad your steps are, do you have a picture you could post? Without seeing them or knowing how many steps you are talking about, you might consider just replacing them from a diy store. Another thought would be to get a free estimates from handymen who do that kind of work, he could evaluate and recommend the best route for you to go. Best to you and your husband.
Call a local carpenter/Handyman who does Honey Do Jobs. Supply the wood and he will charge less!
You might also call Habitat for Humanity, the one in my town does small repair jobs. And even does jobs on rural house grants if your disabled or low-income.... https://www.rd.usda.gov/programs-services/single-family-housing-repair-loans-grants see if you qualify. If your husband has a case worker at Senior & Disabled Services, they maybe able to help you get qualified.
