How can I upcycle two roller blinds?
Hi fellow hometalkers. Any ideas what i can do with two roller blinds?. Roughly about 5ft long. Thank you.
You can donate, paint it, add legs to make an accent table.
HI! I would totally paint this and distress the edges! It will look new again! Try dixie Belles mineral paint. It runs about $10.
Here is an idea for you! You can stencil the bottom.

Paint it. Stencil it. Mod podge it. Options are only limited by your imagination. I use trays all the time. Great for having a late night snack in bed, or out on the patio or porch. I use when baking or cooking up a storm. Do my mise en place and have all my spices, herbs and ingredients on the tray to move around as necessary. My kitchen is very small and counter space is at a premium.
I have one I want to use to put my Grandmother’s crocheted doily under glass.
DECOUPAGE or KEEPSAKE. Decoupage pretty napkins or family picture on it & gloss seal using Polyurethane. Keepsake like above but instead of glass, use a clear plexiglass (less cracks or breakage) when using teapots or heavy glassware or plates.
I use a large tray like that on my dining room table! It is a perfect place to put the salt and pepper, sugar, a vase of flowers and other decorative items! Use some chalk paint to make it look like new again!
You can use it on the wall. Put a large picture or stencil. Or you refinish it and use it as what it is.... a tray. Put a nice tea set or whatever suits you and place on a table.

I decided at least for now to put the tray in my sons bathroom linen closet and I rolled up the bath towels and placed them on the tray! It looks good and much neater!
Well, I see you are already using your tray somewhere else in your house but I am going to give you another idea anyway. I have a couple of trays that are very similar to yours. I have purchased some Dollar Tree wooden games that are on the premise of Jenga only smaller. They have uniformly cut wooden pieces. I haven’t done this project yet but want to do it soon. I plan to either paint or dye the pieces and use them like mini tiles and work up a herringbone or some other design like chevron and put them onto the tray. I always think over my projects before I start them. That way I make fewer mistakes.
