  • I use white vinegar and baking soda. Spray the surface with vinegar and then wipe off with a wet cloth to get rid of any grease residue. Cover the surface with baking soda. Cover the baking soda with a wet towel. Leave it there for 15 to 20 minutes. Use the wet towel to scrub away the grime. Once it's clean, add another spraying of vinegar and wipe it off with a damp towel. Buff with a dry lint free cloth.

I use Simple Green wipes daily. It cleans off the grease and makes it easy. Or I use Simple Green spray on my gas stove and a damp rag. Also, the instruction book said to put the grills in the dishwasher, so I do about once a week or as needed. Love how easy it is to clean this way!

If the top surface is aluminum or porcelain, Bon Ami or Bar Keeper's Friend works well. You'll need pipe cleaners to clear the gas ports of sediment. Otherwise, use a stainless cleaner, following the grain of the stainless to avoid scratching.

Wipe with damp cloth after every use of the stove to avoid discoloration/pitting, particularly if you cook with butter, tomatoes, lemons, etc.
