Where is the lead paint you want to remove? What is it painted onto?
Usually best to have it sealed. Visit a stand alone paint store and see what is available in your area and what the requirements are in your city.

I agree. Have it sealed. If it's on furniture use a soy based paint striper. Do NOT sand!
