How do I make metal adhesion for shower curtains under the tile?
Remodeling bathroom. Deciding between glass shower doors or the use of a shower curtain. I want the shower curtain magnets to stick to the tile. Is there any way to add a piece of metal strong enough under the tile for the magnets To stick? Are there any alternative ideas for this?

We just drill into to tile or grout to mount rods. Magnets won't work under the tile. Tile needs to be applied directly over cement board.
You can drill a circle into the grout the size of a magnet and use epoxy to secure the magnet. We used these magnets and epoxy to do it and it works well.

I'm not sure there's a strong enough magnet to work through tile (plus it might make the tile stick out a bit from the others. You might use some clear silicon to attach a few small stainless steel squares in the area that the shower curtain will hang. OR this might be a better option, use vinyl covered drapery weights that you can attach to the shower curtain.
Maybe you could use magnetic vinyl vent covers. You could cut a strip and glue it to the tile backwards with the magnetic side out.
