How do I paint a microfiber sofa bed?

Paint a microfiber hide a bed couch. I have a brownmicrofiber sofa/bed that is great when company comes .but the color has faded in places and the color os just blah. I would like to go for a dark gray but not sure where to start

Fabric paint - craft area hobby lobby, Walmart- I have used on outside cotton cushions they look new for the season I live in triple digits heat in AZ therefore the fading is severe here
