How can I hang shiplap on a wall with studs?
Our wall I want to ship lap is an outside wall on the other side. I live in FL and the walls have metal studs. I was told we’d have to reframe the wall to create a structure on which to hang the shiplap. Any ideas anyone??

Buy the faux shiplap at Home Depot and glue it on
I would think that you could attach furring strips along the studs and then the shiplap to them. I would use both self tapping screws and liquid nails on the furring strips so as not to have to punch so many holes in the studs. I hope that if I am wrong, a pro will jump in and let you know.
A faux shiplap like we did here is light enough that you can attach with adhesive and a few Brad nails. Not extra structure required! https://www.frugalfamilytimes.com/2018/05/how-to-make-vertical-shiplap-paneling.html?m=1
You can glue it up, I've seen it done in projects but never did it myself.
