Which is the best paint for modular countertops?

Giani and Rustoleum sell countertop paint kits, but you can use paints that you might have if you want. I did a table top, creating a granite look with a sponge and craft paint after painting a base coat with primer and latex paint. I topped it with a water-based sealer.
