How can I upcycle a large number of washcloths?
I have an inordinate number of washcloths, both new and used, in non-matching patterns and solid colors. We use those scratchy Japanese towels now and don't need the washcloths anymore. I don't like to put potentially useful things in the trash. What can I do with them? Thanks!

Hi Helen. If you sew, you could make a quilt with your washcloths. If you're like me and don't know how to sew, you could donate them to your local homeless shelter. I'm sure they would be happy to receive them.
I would use them as cleaning rags. As it is I cut up old toweling for washing floors etc.
You could donate the new ones. Keep the used ones for cleaning rags.
