How can I remove black water rings from wood (maple)?
Unfortunately, on an inherited handmade cobbler's bench (maple) there are black water rings. I'd like to get them out without sanding. Is there any way to do that?

How to get dark water rings out of maple (?) wood.
I think I'd give WD-40 a go on that. Spray on, let set a few, and wipe down. May take several tries, and it may not work, but it won't hurt the wood. It will however, put an awesome polished look to your bench, without the
'slick" feeling of furniture polish. Hope you find a solution.
