Hi Ann - I make dryer balls instead. Making your own wool dryer balls may seem complicated, but this is a simple step-by-step tutorial. They are so much safer than chemical softeners or dryer sheets, and they work really well. Hope this helps! Hugs, Holly

Use distilled white vinegar in your final rinse. Does not leave a vingar smell and leaves clothes nice and soft, especially towels.
I make mine all the time! Super easy and works great! I save my coffee creamer containers to use for the softner, just mix 1 cup of Vinegar, 1 cup of any hair conditioner, and 2 cups of water. Mix up well, I use dollar tree conditioner like v05 or suave. Also sometimes I add a few drops of essential oils
I can't use fabric softener, but, white vinegar added for to the rinse cycle works well.
