Hi Sheila, this is Peggy. We have lived with well water for over 30 years and my best friend in cleaning the brown hard water stains is iron out. Smells bad but works great. Good luck.
Spray with Wd40 and let it sit for a few hours.
Try this! You can buy borax in the laundry detergent section at most grocery stores.
Pour 1/4 cup of Borax into the toilet bowl and swish it around with a toilet brush. Then add 1 cup of vinegar and allow the mixture to sit in the bowl for about 20 minutes. Finish by scrubbing the bowl with a toilet brush to remove hard water stains.
I use a pumice stone
