Hello Vonzetta. My name is Cindy. 3M makes a product where you tape sheets of plastic on your windows and doors. You use a blow drier to shrink it and give an air tight seal. I looked on line and found a kit for 5 windows and costs $14. This was on Amazon. They had a bunch of different kinds of kits for windows and doors. And some kits included windows AND doors. I hope you find this useful. Good luck Vonzetta.

You don’t want to use your fireplace this winter, correct?
Plastic will melt anywhere near the fireplace if being used. Just checking
The 'old way' was to tack sheets of plastic to a frame made of 1"x1" wood strips. These covers were then attached to outside of windows and could be removed in summer and stored for reuse.
