Hi, Debbie!
Here is a link to Pinterest with a few ideas on converting a steamer trunk into a bar... I hope this helps - it sounds like a great project!
Do you want it on-end do the door opens?
I would buy a furniture dolly from Harbor Freight and through bolt it with washers into the end panel of the trunk.
Then I would look for coated wire racks for shelving. Maybe a pantry door rack. consider Velcro or some other fine connection method.
It will be very expensive to put KV Shelving System in there with custom glass shelves.
Then the top will have to be through bolted as well and vertically off-set from the door for it to open freely.
What you use for a top can vary wildly. A small butcher block top, a thick piece of acrylic or an upcycled used marble-granite or glass top. Be careful not to make the top too big, or it will be tippy.
