How do I cover bare wood?
How can I cover some bare wood on a Cream painted batten on the wall that we had to cut out a piece to fit the centre support for a Curtain pole, bit difficult to paint because it’s already fixed any ideas ?

Not sure I understand, but if the wood you want to paint is on a wall, get the blue or green painter's tape and outline the wood. Then paint whatever color you want and when dry, remove the tape. You should have a neat painted piece of wood
