Doors and windows fog up when the warm moisture in the air touches the cooler glass. All you can do is remove the moisture/dry the air. That may not be possible in your home, but running a dry air furnace and dehumidifier may help if it bothers you that much.
the seal has been broken, its rather difficult to repair and a bit expensive, cost out the price for a door.
If it's not the side that opens you can hang semi sheer curtains and leave them closed over that side.
