If you have a tub but no shower, you can buy the hand held shower hose and nozzles they make for tubs. We added one to our guest bath tub and it comes with a hook to hang it up also, so you don't have to hold it to shower if you do not want to hold it.
DesertRose, thank you for your response. I suppose I should have explained with more details. The problem is there is no tub, or hot water. Just needing a makeshift while transitioning to a new home. No hot water would be hard to shower in. I think I would heat water, pour it in the sink and take a "sponge" bath.
