You can paint the cabinets, new backsplash.

You could get new cabinet doors and paint them and the existing frames.
Yep...paint those cabinets! Add new handles, too...i paint my cabinets every 3-4 years, whenever I get the desire to....i added brushed silver handles which 'go' with any color i choose now... The handles were an ugly gold ('gold is OLD') so i replaced them rather than painted them as I found the paint rubs off from the handles (from a different room experience-ha) .. It's fun! You will love it!
I used a kit by Rust-Oleum called Cabinet Transformations to paint my cabinets. You can see how I did it here: https://www.flippingtheflip.com/2015/09/kitchen-cabinets-black.html
