Hi Domingo,
From my experience, I have installed the plastic mesh gutter guards, and they did not work very well, so just a heads up if you want to try them. What happened was the installation went pretty well, although time consuming. They did not hold up, the plastic is fairly flexible and it did not hold it's shape, allowing leaves to get in.
Hopefully other Hometalkers can offerr a better solution.
