How can I repair peeling paint in the bathtub?
Recently our bathtub around the drain started chipping. I cleaned it out and used jbweld water weld and used tub n tile paint. Repair lasted two weeks and rust came thru again. How can I fix it to include permenant paint. Do I have to paint the whole tub or just the repair area.

Since your initial repair failed, despite using some un-specified JB Weld product (of which I respect the Brand),
I would suggest that re-coating a failed specific repair is not going to work, no matter what products.
The chipping is a result of rust under the surface and therefore, the rust must be ground out & neutralized.
If this has been going on for a few years, It’s possible that the “cancer” is terminal.

You need to start thinking about replacement. Once it starts peeling you have to totally redo but the rust will make it very temporary. Sorry.
