If the fabric in the slipcovers is not 100% cotton, or contains any synthetic (such as polyester) it will not accept the dye evenly. The results most likely will be uneven, blotchy and unattractive. There is dye available for synthetic fabrics. However, proper preparation is the key to success.

You should be able to buy dye at the fabric store (or amazon) and it will have instructions for you.
I would use RIT dye in a large bucket!
