Can you give me advice on a floor color to match my bedroom?
Bedroom is almost complete, debating on floor colors. In the picture you can see the paneling put up sideways like shiplap, colors are tans, brown, light gray and little bit of black. Two tone white and tan walls with black trim around windows and doors. Was think of light gray floor or tan floor to match upper wall. don't worry people I will not be offended by your response.

I would use a medium gray. I think light gray would be too much of a contrast with that paneling.
Anything BUT gray - it's a depressing color and way overdone. A basic neutral will last longer and when you redecorate the next time you will already have the flooring in place. Strictly my opinion. 20 years ago I painted my kitchen several different shades of gray. Mind you, my kitchen is all windows and receives tons of natural light. But at night, it was dreary, depressing and institutional. I couldn't stand it and painted it over with a bright sparkling white. Huge difference. Do what makes you happy. It's your house, doesn't matter what others think.
I agree with the medium gray also. Light gray would show dirt, wear, and tear more. You want something in between the light and dark of the room to bring it all together.
I would pick darker undertones from the wall with shiplap
Keep in mind that a darker flooring will show more flecks of dust, lint, crumbs, hair, thread, etc. faster than a lighter color. Also, a darker floor will make the room seem smaller than a lighter color.
As flooring can be expensive to replace, I would suggest that you go with something light and neutral. You can always add more color with area rugs and other furnishings, which are easier to change than installing a whole new floor.
Is that already a stained wood floor and you are considering painting or carpeting? Because you have to white trim which separates the wall from the floor I think you could leave as it with a beautiful area rug.
