Probably easier and cheaper to replace. You can always attach things to the shade to hide tears or other damage.

Hello there,
Can you post pictures of the lampshade in question?
Believe or not, Fabric or Contact Paper when properly Cut.
If you roll up a 4 Sided Pyramid-like Shape, it is a Cone.
. -------
--------------
So to get the Top Dimension, you measure Circumference at the smaller Top of the Shade, add an inch so it overlaps like a Seam in the backside.
Measure the Bottom Circumference too, add an inch so it does not seam crooked.
Measure the sides so you know how Tall your cone needs to be.
Cut that shape out.
If it is Contact Paper Roll it up, if it is fabric Sew it with the 1 Inch Seam.
Voila you just made washable or wipable shade covers, and with matching lamps throughout the home each of these can very easily take from room to room.
If you get a Variety Pack you can easily make 10 of these to switch them out, from season to season.
If you get different fabrics, same: Switch them out to add Variety to your interior landscape.
