How to clean porcelain tubs?
If they are new just mild soap and a sponge.
If they are old and porous then have someone take a hot shower/bath so not to waste water. Then spray scrub free or kaboom with bleach (ventilate properly) and leave it on for 10 minutes or so. You will already see a difference without touching it. Rinse off the bulk of the cleaner so you dont gag yourself, and spot clean the worst parts. Improves each time.
Hi Lori, here's an article with good advice for you.
I found this advice online: “To clean a porcelain enamel tub, start by scrubbing any stains with hydrogen peroxide or equal parts ammonia and baking soda. Then, let the mixture sit on the stains for 5 minutes before washing it away with hot water and dish soap. Next, scrub the rest of the tub using a sponge and soapy water.“
