Alternative to tile for backsplas?

As much as I like tile and I think it's great as a backsplash. What else can you do to create a nice decorative backsplash in the kitchen without using tile?
I have the same problem! This website shares a few ways to go about it. I am going to start with vinegar and baking soda. For my newer baking sheets, I’m going to make sure to always use baking mats or parchment paper. Good luck!

i put them in the oven when i clean the oven, my are heavy metal. good luck .
Oven cleaner works great.
I soaked mine in boiling water and blue Dawn. That loosened a lot of it. Then scrubbed with an SOS pad. I tried a few other things that worked "ok" like baking soda, barkeeper's friend, and marble paste. SOS was the winner.
