I love adding racks that will double the shelf space.
Just make sure they fit properly before you permanently attach them and do not hit the shelves when closed.

I had that problem to I got wire wracks and pot holders to put the pots on there sides bed bath and beyond has some family dollar to I also got holders for plates to stack them and I used a pot holder sideways to put cookie sheets in the cabinet
Put shelves on the backs of the doors to help maximize space.
You can also use a 2 litre soda bottle with the bottom cut off, turned upside down and screw onto the door to store plastic bags.
I have used the wire towel holders that come in a 3 pack and are smaller to hang things on, or stove pots lids on the inside cabinet door.
I have also seen magazine holders screwed onto the cabinet door inside to store cutting boards.
Racks or shelves for sure help
