How do I adjust cabinet doors?
I just repainted my kitchen cabinets. I have installed new hinges, some style as before. Yet, I'm having trouble getting my doors to line up and close/open properly. I carefully labeled the doors so I know I am reinstalling them in the correct place. Any thoughts/suggestions?

You don't mention what kind of hinges you have but I found some information that might help you! It is a matter of messing around with the screws until you get them to where things are working properly. Even the simplest hinges can be screwed on too tightly and just loosening them helps.

Hi GK! Have run into this problem before painting cabinets! What has helped me is going up one drill bit size and every so slightly widening the original hole for the screws! Hope that helps!
Since you purchased these expensive hinges at Lowes, I would contact them to get the customer service number for the manufacturer to get some technical support for fixing your problem..... there is always a solution.... you just gotta find it.
Could you post a picture of the hinge and maybe a picture of exactly how they are not lining up and hopefully I can give you some advice
You could try using longer screws. Also, drilling pilot holes might help. If you still can't get them to fit, call the customer service department at the manufacturing company.

Are they the kind with the screws if they are you need to hold the door open and get a screw driver and hold the door and turn the screw then close the door check it and keep doing that till it is good
