Hi, Wanda!
I've used several different brands of paint on kitchen cabinets. From the inexpensive paint to higher-end brands, they've all held up nicely because in my opinion, preparation is the most important step when painting cabinets. The cabinets should be cleaned using a degreaser (Dawn dishwashing liquid or TSP) the primed with at least two coats of a quality primer. With that being said, my favorite paint brand is Behr... I hope this helps!

I don't know that there is one best white paint. You want a shade of white that works for you (there are many shades, some cool, some warm), durable, a finish that is easy to clean. Areas that are used a lot benefit from a protective sealer. Go with good quality paint, do a careful prep and take your time. Sherwin Williams and Behr are excellent brands. Tell the person in that department what you are painting and they should be of help.
For kitchen cabinets most paint stores will recommend an acrylic latex paint in an enamel finish. This paint is made to withstand wear on cabinets and trim and is very durable. Behr, Sherwin Williams, and Benjamin Moore are all good brands. If you are painting over your wood kitchen cabinets you will also need to use a primer first. Kilz is a good one.

Kitchen and Bath paint is what I have used for over 50 years of painting cabinets. Durable and washable, semi-gloss finish no matter what the brand.
I would use cabinet quality white paint and add OilBond to it. I did this with my kitchen painting project you can see here: https://happydealhappyday.com/how-to-paint-kitchen-cabinets-without-sanding/
I used General Finishes white milk paint on my kitchen cabinets, and now, almost two years later, they look great!
