Do you recommend using the Wagner Power Sprayer?
I have a heavy duty sprayer but I'm considering a smaller paint sprayer. I'm looking for experience with the Wagner Power Spray or recommendations for a small job paint sprayer. TIA.

Hi Kathy, My husband had the Wagner and didn't like it all that much because it spit randomly that made it hard to control. I know they probably give the best promotions when using it with marketing your projects, but I use my hubby's second paint sprayer that he bought and it is the BEST. It is more expensive but it gives a PRO finish like I have never seen. He is a woodworker so he is super A type when it comes to his finishes and this passed the test. It's the EARLEX!!!

I don't know if this is actually the same exact model that we have because he got it at Woodcraft but it really is amazing. If you are interested how to use it, I give some tips in this post:

The sprayer is an all in one. It doesn't need an air compressor to go along with it. Everything is built in.
Oh gotcha!!! Yes I hear ya! Sometimes you need a small one to get around easier with quick jobs. I did see something from one of my fave bloggers Kristi from Addicted2decorating. She loves this little one. I haven't tried it but I love her projects!!:

One thing about using one of these...you’ll need to thin the paint before spraying so spray several thin coats instead of thicker coats or you’ll get runs in the paint.
The Wagner is ok. It works well for small jobs, but if you have access to an air compressor then I recommend getting an HVLP. There are some good, inexpensive options at Harbor Freight. Regardless, if you use Floetrol in your paint, the results will be better.
I have this one and love it.

Hi! I recently used one and getting the right model for your project is really key. Here was my review of the one I used: https://bachelorettepadflip.com/2019/09/16/how-to-refinish-adirondack-chairs/
I also have an Earlex and it is amazing. I have used it to paint everything. It works with stain and any kind of paint. It gives a professional finish. (It is what my cabinet maker uses also.) If you do a lot of painting, do yourself a favor and spend a little bit more for a quality sprayer. They make painting projects so much easier.
I love my Wagner sprayer, you need to use a additive called flow troll, it makes the paint go through the sprayer better, no spitting of paint.
I want to add an extra tip: wagner paint sprayer has a 5 yr extended warranty. src - https://mypaintsprayer.com/
