Sandy, it sounds like you are going to need more than one product. If you want to fill the expansion cracks, look for an elastomeric crack fill for garage floors. It expands and contracts as the concrete does so it won't peel. If you want to cover the surface of concrete, look for masonry stain. It won't peel off like paint does.
I would patch any cracks, first. Then go with paint specially for concrete. Your local hardware store can be very helpful since paint, usage, and environment makes a huge difference. For example, I wouldn't paint my driveway in New Mexico because the weather is too harsh.
Laura and Lucky have excellent suggestions. Paint will always end up peeling and appear unappealing within a short period of time. You might consider staining the concrete instead. Stain just fades over time and easy to refresh when needed. I live where it gets brutally hot in summer and staining is very popular here for that reason.
For the cracks, check out a product called SIKA. I would go with stain over paint. It is much easier to maintain.
