Could you post a few pictures showing the room the wall is in and the adjoining room(s) so that people could have an idea of your color scheme and decorating style? You will get much more specific input if you do this.
There are zillions of ways to decorate a wall but luckily you’re at a good site to help. Did you try the search bar at the top left? You be able to find piles of great suggestions there.
A wall in which room? How large of an area are you referring to?
I'm thinking that this wall is in your dining room because you mention a table. In my dining room I hung a collection of plates. I bought plate hangers at Hobby Lobby. If I remember right, they were about $10 each. Each hanger houses 3 plates. I watch a lot of Home and Garden programs during the day. I see that a lot of people hang plates in their kitchens and dining rooms, to go with their decor. I like the plates because you can see all of them at one time. And they are a great way to bring pops of color into the room.
Take a trip to Home Goods or Kirklands. They have amazing wall decor for every room.

Barb...can you take a picture & let us see that wall..thanks
Hi, Barb,
You could add a large mirror that would make the room look twice the size. You could all a large painting or lots of smaller pictures in a colliarge, or hang Plates or Photo's or needlework or Rug etc. Best wishes.....
