How do I create vertical storage with no closets in my home??
My home was built in the 1920's, we have remodeled the inside but it is a 1 bedroom 1 bath, very small home with NO CLOSETS which leaves me with no storage!! I know in small spaces vertical storage is better than taking up space on the floor, I'm up for any ideas!

This site actually is for more storage in apartments but the ideas can be used anywhere.
Don't feel limited about the height for your storage under your bed. I got a bed frame from amazon that ditches the box frame for extra room under the bed. I LOVE mine.

Have you thought of using an armoire? If you had enough room in your bedroom, they look nice and useful for storage.
There are loads of ways to go vertically with shelves, boxes, designed units — it’s a matter of what you’re storing and personal preference. Start by analyzing what you plan to store then search images on Hometalk/Pinterest/Google then lay out from there.
Under the sinks-you could put pretty boxes, a rack over the toilet, hang a rack over the back of inner doors. I like the under the bed storage.

Hi Mariah. I recommend using space bags. I use them to store my coats, comforter sets, and out-of-season clothing. I pack them full and zip them up. Attach it to your vacuum cleaner so that it sucks all the air out. I put them under my bed and out of the way. Good luck Mariah. Stay healthy and well.
Hello. I find storage opportunities under the beds, I have significant lack of storage too.
Recessed storage units that make use of the space in between the wall studs is a floor-space-saving option. Here's a few examples:
Another option that conserves floor space is to switch conventional furniture with pieces that have built in storage. Here's a few examples:
Shelves, under the bed, or add a piece of furniture. My daughter has a 1960's build with no closets in one bedroom or bathroom, just a tiny closet in the other bedroom. We took an entertainment armoire and converted it to a closet.

Hello. I am in a unique situation to with a 1970s log cabin with no storage. I resorted to under bed storage and other created ideas. Using bed risers or purchasing one of the new steel frames with 14 inches under bed storage could be options to consider.
