It looks as if you could make a frame out of 1x2's and then staple screen to the frame. It could fit right inside the outside frame of one of the screens. You would then remove the screening from that area. You could then use hinges so the frame would open and close with a handle on the other side.
why not take out that one panel of screen and add a hinged wooden door on it and it could have a lock on it from the inside?
Hi Shirl, looking at the picture you provided, I think you could get away with building a frame the same size as the opening on the screen and adding in a wicket, like the attached link or a doggie door. https://www.amazon.ca/PetSafe-Door-Replacement-Large-PAC11-11039/dp/B000WJ2GJ2/ref=sr_1_3_sspa?dchild=1&keywords=doggie+door&qid=1591730835&sr=8-3-spons&psc=1&spLa=ZW5jcnlwdGVkUXVhbGlmaWVyPUEzT1M5WVY4SkVRVVhRJmVuY3J5cHRlZElkPUEwNzEwNDA3MUtVVEhNOE9EUExYTCZlbmNyeXB0ZWRBZElkPUEwNDEyMjc1M0hBNzVWVVVUU0xOTSZ3aWRnZXROYW1lPXNwX2F0ZiZhY3Rpb249Y2xpY2tSZWRpcmVjdCZkb05vdExvZ0NsaWNrPXRydWU=

is it possible to take one screen out and put up the screen that splits in the middle and has the magnets in the middle.
What if you make a 2 frames from lattice stripes and staple screen on one then attached the other lattice frame to the top. Basically sandwiching the screen in the middle. Then you can put small hinges on it so it will open and close.
