Remove Grease From Kitchen Cabinets
Here is another link, take a look at it and evaluate the pros and cons of cleaning with alcohol, keep in mind it is highly flammable especially in high heat places. It can also dull wood finishes if you have that on your cabinets:

If your cabinets are wood, alcohol may damage the finish. I always clean mine with Murphy's Oil Soap.
You can but it may damage your finish. I would recommend Orangle Glo for wood cabinets, just to lightly clean. many people use Murphy's Oil Soap but it leaves a film and I don't like rinsing. Plus, I like the smell of the Orange Glo. My cabinet builders recommended it.
If you need to scrub, use a paste of baking soda & hydrogen peroxide.
For deep cleaning, use a wood & kitchen safe degreaser. I really like GP66. Remember to wear a mask if you spray a degreaser so you don't break them particles into your lungs.
I use Awesome cleaner from the Dollar store. Takes down dirt and grime like no other cleaner. Spray on wipe off dirt and grease, rinse with clean rag. And the best part is ....you guessed it....$1.00 for a spray bottle.
Dip a soft rag in the denatured alcohol and wipe down the surface of the sticky cabinets in slow strokes over a small area. Allow 15 minutes between wiping down the cabinets for the denatured alcohol to evaporate
