How to make body wash with dial bar soap w/o leaving crust in tub?
I use dial bar soap that is shredded, water and cook until melted and let sit for 24 hour. When I use it, it a little slimy and I have to use more than usual but most of all there is a crust in the bath water. Is there a way to make it more soapy and not crusty?

The crustiness may be a result of the combination of your water type, with the calcium stearate in the soap.
It could also be the chemical consistency of the Dial soap itself. Perhaps a different soap will yield a different result.
Spray your shower with this combo, it is good to clean the entire bathroom except for granite and marble
Heat up 1 cup of white vinegar, mix in about 1/4 cup of Dawn Premium. Not the dollar store kind, because it is too thin. When mixed, pour into a spray bottle and fill with water. Shake. Spray down the grout and let it sit overnight. In the morning rinse. If you have stubborn stains, spray again. Use this mixture a few times a week. It will keep your grout and tiles clean. Also works wonders in the toilet bowl to keep hard water stains at bay. Oh you only have to heat the vinegar one time when you add the Dawn.
Buy a mesh bag and put soap pieces inside.
A mesh bag would work well. ...or buy body wash! ...or make your own!

Body washes are composed of particular ingredients to keep the solution homogenized; in other words to keep the ingredients mixed and so that the liquid runs smoothly.
The soapy solution that results when you shred bar soap and try to stir the shreds into water will not have the same consistency.
Bar soap contains particular ingredients to hold the bar together.
So, even when you try to 'mix' the shreds into water to form a body wash solution, due to the ingredients, the molecules int the soap bar pieces will still continue to want to stick together. As the water evaporates, a crust will result.

You could add some glycerin for more bubbles.
Hi Faye, Betsy is correct, you will still get bathtub rings, it means the soaps are doing their job and pulling the dirt & oils off to the side while you bath. Here is a cleaner solution you can make your self.
